Seldon O. Young & Jared Brown
Seldon O. Young along with partner Jared Brown are Executive Producers for each of the 5 (and soon to be 7) Swan Princess movies. In addition to developing and producing The Swan Princess Franchise, they have nearly 40 other productions to their credit including video shorts, documentaries and animated historical dramas.
Together Mr. Young and Mr. Brown have created and operate a number of independent businesses in and outside of the entertainment industry. The Swan Princess Franchise and it’s quest to teach high values and morals is typical in the way these two men do business around the world.
Richard Rich is an American director, producer and screenwriter. Rich is founder and owner of Crest Animation Productions. Rich started his career in the mailroom of the Walt Disney Studios but worked his way up to first assistant director. He made his directorial debut on The Fox and the Hound and later directed The Black Cauldron.
Rich established Rich Animation Studios, later re-named Rich Crest. He directed The Swan Princess in 1994 which led-up to four sequels and two more coming in 2016 and 2017. Besides feature films, Rich has produced direct-to-video series such as Animated Stories from the New Testament, Animated Stories from the Bible, Animated Stories from The Book of Mormon, Animated Hero Classics and K10C: Kids’ Ten Commandments. His most recent credit is as producer on the computer-animated comedy drama film Alpha and Omega and as the director/producer of its sequels.
J Bateman composes and produces music for his Utah-based production company, Artist Point Productions. From his studio he has produced several international best-selling fitness albums. He has composed and produced music for ESPN, NASCAR, HealthRider, NordicTrack and Billy Blanks’ TaeBo. In addition to his work in the United States, J has lived and worked in the film industry in Japan, and he produced the debut album of the popular Brazilian band, Herois Do Dia. He has been on several major
international tours as both a sound engineer and a guitar player, including tours of Europe and the former Soviet Union.
J also works as a composer for film and T.V. and his original music can be heard in video games, radio advertisements, and feature films. He recently won a “Telly” for his original score in the short film, “Nobody’s Listening”. He also recently composed the score for the feature film, “Saints and Soldiers”, which has won 14 best picture awards at film festivals nationwide, and he was the Music Supervisor and Composer for the ABC Family Movie of the Month, “Everything You Want”. On a different front, J helped to produce the critically acclaimed regional touring production of Evita. He acted in several capacities for the show, as music producer and both conducting the orchestra and playing guitar in “the pit”.
Most recently, J composed the score for the action/adventure film, “Outlaw Trail”, and the sports drama “Forever Strong”, starring Sean Astin. He is currently working on the horror film, “House of Fears.” He lives in Utah with his wife, Britani, and their two daughters, Taylor and Olivia.
Alexis “Lex” King de Azevedo
Alexis “Lex” King de Azevedo is an American composer, song writer, pianist and singer known primarily for his film scores and his work on The Swan Princess of which one of his songs was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for the song “Far Longer than Forever.” De Azevedo, a Mormon, also produced the music for the LDS musical Saturday’s Warrior.
Lex de Azevedo was born the son of Alyce King of The King Sisters by her first marriage.
De Azevedo served as a musical director for The Sonny & Cher Show, Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five and The Osmonds. He composed the scores for the films Where the Red Fern Grows and the The Swan Princess,
He has also composed for pop singers (including many members of his own family) and the stage.
He is also credited as the co-writer of the Latter Day Saint production, Saturday’s Warrior.
De Azevedo has ten children.

Benford has scored and/or produced the soundtrack for a host of television and film titles
2012 Benford conducted the original score for the movie “The Swan Princes” at the same time became first African American to completely score and voice direct an animated feature film for Sony Pictures
